Oscillating in between the pieces’ architectural construction and the exuberance of the accessories combined with the Maison’s codes, an urban glamrock- day&night woman. Jackets are structured close to the body and transform themselves into “bolero-jackets” or dress-up with breast plates, dresses are sculpted and the shoulders’ volume variate, trousers play trompe l’oeil with sequins, structured in a visual cut, skirts divert their volume, t-shirts are there and give a “rue” touch to the silhouettes. The patchwork of fabrics, gold fishnet, knit, silk, pied-de-poule, Lurex, sequined jersey, silk velvet, cloqué natté, quilted, varies the exercise. The pallet is sombre-glittery. Graphic effects of sailor’s stripes with over black, touches of lacquered red, emerald green, apricot and powdered pink. The jewellery accessories are created out vinyl records and silk satin. |
